Parole!

In crisis situations, mobile sound sources of various provenance announce their messages of salvation. Police, fire-brigade, animal protection, Roncalli Circus or political parties, they all promise rescue – from acute crime, high trees, persistent boredom or unchecked capitalism. Crisis, then, has many faces: economic, existential, environmental, relationship or political crisis. Often, we experience a crisis if our engine does not start or if the TV presenter still has not seen Mary Donaldson’s wedding dress just before the royal wedding. steirischer herbst is now setting out to help, announcing messages throughout the city of Graz during the festival period – messages that intervene, shake up and give new impetus. In a word, that have the potential to rescue the inhabitants of Graz from their very personal crises.
