Antechamber - vor der Scheidung

Through rooms and storage rooms, locations before and behind state rooms, are turned into places of division (krisis) through artistic intervention. In antechambers, the issue of artistic imagination is raised. New perspectives open up, the once clear-cut is placed in a fragile balance: real and imaginary shells define the picture anew, driving – as ”Angel-Face” – history to a divisive radicality. Casual looks suddenly become de-cisive (R. Schnell); the decision to move within the room, an intimate image-making process (A. Gaviria); and the history of a place, a sculptural remembrance (M. Wilfling).
