Series: Soundtracks

In 2015, the steirischer herbst concert and DJ-series operates under the name "Soundtracks". Each Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, the soundtrack to this year's festival will be presented live and on stage.

Ten nights, two locations, one name: Soundtracks. This year, the steirischer herbst concert and DJ-series will settle in the festival centre at the GrazMuseum as well as the Kunsthaus Graz’ Space04 in order to breathe life and a little internationality into the venues. Artists from eight countries will perform come Wednesday, Friday or Saturday – from the Scottish experimental-hip-hop-trio Young Fathers, to the Danish pop-fantasists Liima or DJ Obstsalat, who hails from Argentina. Soundtracks is not only geographically far reaching, but musically as well. Driving beats, melodious pop or intimate song sketches can be found to the same degree as – loyal to the leitmotif “Back to the Future” – references to past and future of popular music. Dropping by pays off.
