SOSka group: self organization as survival

SOSka group was found in 2005 in Kharkiv (UA) and unites artists with a similar view on social and political problems. The group deals critically with the neoliberal art system and uses these reflections as material for art works as well as a principle for curatorial and activist activities. With initiatives such as as “Gallery-lab space” (2005-2012) and “Days of apartment exhibitions” (2011-2012) SOSka group develops a local cultural sphere and tries to build an international network based on ideas of exchange, collaboration and solidarity.
