Kunst und Vorstadt: Sinn(losigkeit) der Kunst im suburbanen Lebensraum

On the basis of an open art term aspects of the urbanisation, metropolis and the transformation of its rural periphery to life -, work -, business and industrial suburbs become the topic in several art-actions and installations.

Urbanism is brought up for discussion in its various facets not by the center of the Urbanism, but by already rhizomatic urban growth of the peripheries. Between ”God ditch“ and ”gallows reed (Galgenried)“ (work title), in suburb hells and/or suburb idyls, a suburb culture/art reflects and presents itself as reflection of these processes.
