Mocky has a reputation of always surprising listeners. After electro, Hip Hop and soul publications and collaborations with numerous artists (including Jamie Lidell, Feist, Gonzales, Nikka Costa and Jane Birkin), his current work, “Saskamodie”, is a bold step into unknown territory: Seemingly classical soundtrack suites, laid-back, elegant jazz borrowings, and soul ballads as if from the sixties.
