With the arrangement of the instruments (multiple sound islands and groups, including live electronics), Gerd Kühr’s new work reflects specifically on the manifold potentials and possibilities of the venue, that elaborates and adds tremendously to the conditions of traditional concert presentation.

As a result, this première in particular becomes a paradigmatic test of whether this alliance of new rooms and technologies can offer artists a profound foil and basis on which to embark on truly innovative explorations and expeditions on the uncharted ocean of New Music.
