ARTikulationen is an international festival for artistic research that engages with aesthetic, social, and existential questions through an integrated artistic and scientific approach. Since 2016 artists and thinkers have been presenting their projects, most recent works, and results together with thinkers and PhD candidates. ARTikulationen is organized by the Doctoral School for Artistic Research (KWDS) of the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz in cooperation with musikprotokoll. Critically Concerned? is the title of this year’s discussion round. Performers, composers, and thinkers dialogue with one another about their music practices and the question as to what extent they are able to express, reflect on, explore, and challenge interpersonal relations, independently of prevailing social conditions.
