In the exhibition i am disappearing inch by inch into this house judith fischer develops – initiated by an intensive research into “haunted houses and haunted hotels” in literature and film – an installation of slides, objects, film- and text-elements. The buildings and situations, in which the living encounter the dead, are as places at the same time intersections of fact and fiction. Contact and communication adopt hypnotic forms of transmission.
