Underground diva Almut Klotz (formerly Lassie Singers) and Hanseatic dandy Christian Dabeler sing about ‘people as such’ – cryptic, with a penchant for hyperbolic outbursts and laconic glam rock.

Berlin-based guitar band Britta – now with faster, cheerier songs – have meanwhile also become an institution. And their singer Christiane Rösinger (formerly also Lassie Singers) is without doubt one of the best German-speaking lyricists.
