The extensive retrospective on the lifework of the artist W.W. Anger, born in Graz and died much too early last year, has as its aim to show his precisely way to convert prevailing subjects like reflections about the modern age, the theory of communication and system, the structuralism, the philosophical constructivism and sociological questions into art, what emphasize Anger’s work as one which plays a significant role in the contemporary art. A team of art historians, art critics and curators will compile a full monograph which will be supported by steirische kulturinitative and edited by Bibliothek der Provinz.
