One might say that "Out of Functions" lacks a story - after all, it is a play about everything and nothing. But still there is laughter, passion and tears, just like in any good drama.
Even when the dialogue, dancing and singing seems to deal unambiguously with things that everyone knows, it is still above all about how much you have to say and how you have to say it in order to be understood. At the same time, it is simply about a plot and about one's own life: stories, memories, events, coincidental and precise.
With "Out of Functions", the young theatre-maker Mart Kangro, probably the most well-known contemporary choreographer and dancer in his native country Estonia, embarks on a playful search for the essence of a plot and for the private as it becomes public.
