Lostinthefunhouse is the name Irene Dapunt gives to her new large-format paintings. The works were done between 2003 and 2005. Titles such as “Take a chillpill”, “soon come” or “La teoria del tutto” refer to urban culture. In “soon come”, for example, flags, personal photos and Rap and Hip Hop lyrics condense into a rhythmic whole. “La teoria del tutto” shows images created during a stay in Rome.
